Early Spring Tulip Subscription--three weeks

Season starts late March/early April (depending on Mother Nature).

Love spring flowers? Need color and sunshine after our long, gray winter? You're not alone--  our customers rave about these beauties! These make an incredible gift, too!

These three weekly bouquets include tulips with the occasional fancy daffodils added for a pop of color.

They aren't just "any" tulips or daffs, either. They are premium tulips, ones you are very unlikely to find at the local grocery store.

I grow fancy tulips, such as fringed, parrot, doubles, and the classic long-stemmed French ones. My daffodils include both classic yellow but also unique color combos including blush, cream, and even pink and white.

Your flowers will be wrapped and ready for pickup on whichever location/day you choose.

Flowers will include what's currently blooming in our gardens. Each bouquet is handpicked for you at the perfect time to increase vase life.

Please note: Mother Nature controls the timing, so I cannot guarantee your bouquet for any particular time frame (including Easter).

The goal is one bouquet each week for three weeks in a row, but that may differ depending on the weather.

Location pickup options (choose one):

1. Westfield (Rivet Coffee near downtown Westfield) on Tuesdays between 9 am to 3 pm

2. Sheridan (24827 Eagletown Road) on Thursdays between 4 to 7 pm

3. Sheridan (24827 Eagletown Road) on Fridays between 4 to 6 pm.

**If new locations are added, renewal subscriber customers will be given the option to switch locations before opening to new subscriber customers.

Remember, your flowers will last longer if you show them some love! Please keep them out of sunlight and at room temperature. Cutting the stems at an angle and providing fresh water every two to three days will ensure that they look their loveliest for you.

  • ABOUT SUBSCRIPTIONS

Growers who offer a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) such as myself are selling a piece of their harvest upfront. When growers harvest their crops, they set aside their first crops (or in this case, flowers) for the people who have purchased a CSA share before they find other ways to sell their products. Our subscribers get the best of the best! It allows growers to collect money from the community when they most need it to make purchases for the season (soil, seeds), and it allows community members access to the freshest crops grown. It reduces transportation pollution and energy usage, while increasing vase life of the flowers.

  • FLOWER CARE

Keep your flowers happy by offering them some basic protection from sunlight and extreme temperatures. Putting them in a window looks pretty but will cause them to open fully and quicker, thus shortening their vase life. Change the water every few days, and cut the stems at an angle with sharp shears. Add half a flower food packet if you have it. Doing these basic things will ensure that your flowers last their longest!
